As Afrasi says there is very faint evidence of where the letters should be, particularly the lower left shows the dot that accompanied the letter. The other side has only the barest hint depending how the light catches the coin.
This is another coin out of my Bluebird toffee tin ;D so it's been with me a long time, all my foreign collection except for India were tipped in there sometime in 1970's, I'm finding many coins that were newly issued in the 1950/60's still with their mint lustre.

I think you all deserve a view of my fabled Bluebird toffee tin collection  ;D ;D ;D

What can I say? Other people use a metal detector and a shovel and tons of patience, while you have your coin mine. :)

BTW, if that tin starts rusting, you'll be unhappy for your coins...

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

;D ;D  I will however confess that for every coin that is of some value there are dozens that are junk or multiples of others

which year the toffee tin was from ?

The toffee tin I refer to in quite a few posts is a1950's Bluebird toffee tin which has hundreds of foreign coins in, a collection I made in the 1960's which were tipped into the tin & left undisturbed until recently 8)

here is a link to a page that shows a photo of it  ;D ;D
