From a purely linguistic angle I can't get much else out of "Quod pauperi mihi" (literally, what the poor to me), with no actual verb, only an implied one.  It's only half a phrase at best, so a flow-on to the reverse is all we're left with, given that the legend on the reverse is only half a phrase too (I shall give back a hundredfold - but what??)

If the implied object isn't money - and unlike Peter, I didn't make that assumption - but something else, e.g. an intangible like faith or trust, would that make more sense?  E.g. "put yourself in my hands and the rewards will be immense" ...
