Spain, Ferdinand VII, brass coin 1833

Not sure if this is a coin or medalion? it's made of brass which doesn't seem right although it's so worn that it must have been circulated

The Regal clogs were popped in 1833. Maybe a commemorative medal?

Both sides are similar to some of the earlier silver coins of his reign, the shield is identical, I can just make out remnants of a 2 on the right of the shield & a small letter A to the left
