Poland to release Olympic coins

12th July 2012

The National Bank of Poland is set to release on Thursday a series of coins to commemorate the Polish team going to the London Olympics.

The series include a zł.200 gold coin with an issue volume of 5,000 pieces, 50,000 silver zł.10 coins, as well as a zł.2 coin made from Nordic gold with an issue volume of one million.

The gold and slivers coins will be on sale at auction through the Selekcjoner system until Thursday afternoon while the zł.2 coins will be available at NBP branches at their nominal value.

The Olympics begin in London on July 27.
