last week i was offered for 4300 in UNC condition.

I was offered the entire set except the Bhootlingam @1700. & Bhootlingam @ 1000. Like a Fool, I picked up the set without the Bhootlingam note............Now I curse myself for the folly.

When was this? couple of years back? I was offered the entire set for around 3K [mixed quality ... some average, otherwise UNC] in 2008-2009 [?] but thought it was too much, I already had half the set and did not think wise to buy what I already had ... and now i spent almost 3k for the missing ones, apart from still not getting the 3 notes ...  ???  ???

Well a little more than a couple of years back...... may be 4 or 5 years ago. 100% UNC. I picked up the Rs 2 as well as the Rs 5 sets too.........

I almost ticked off the seller (who is a commission agent type dealer and even today my regular source for Mughal Coins) as I found the price of one note exorbitant. He tried his level best to convince me to buy the Bhootlingam note......going so far as telling me that I will regret the decision of not buying that note........ He went on to add that he would make may be a 50 -100 Rupees on that one note and it was not for a 100 Rupees that he was trying to convince me to buy the note..........His words still ring in my years............Now I always respect his advice.
