It might be dated 1628?

That means its a Grano from Malta.... ;D

Can't match that speed. Some additional detail. Malta KM 50

obv: + F.ANTONIVS DE PAVLA.M.M (Fra Antonio de Paula, grand master), simplified De Paula family arms
rev: + HOSPITALI HIERVSALEM, arms of the order with dates between the arms of the cross

Where + is a Maltese cross.
Found some pictures of stamps that illustrate the above

The cross is quite plain...I like that.

The problem of a plain cross is that itis already used by the house of Savoy, that was to become the royal house of a united Italy. If you are next door neighbours, it is better to remove such irritants and guess who the weaker party was...

I'd had this one for a week or so before I got fed up looking and posted a picture.
For some reason it's only when I looked at the large image I realised it was 1628 not 1682 ;D
