Well blow me down, another coin from Syracuse in Sicily showed up today  ;D
It was with a bunch of mainly Celtic including a couple of half asses (sic) ::) It was the one that was holding my attention. 8)
What a nice surprise!  Unless of course it's a fake!!

Obverse: Face left (Zeus?)
Reverse: Archer (?) with plumed helmet right ZYPA in right field, text in left field which i can't read

Which period please?

ZYPA is close enough. It is Syracuse but I do not recognise the standing archer as such. Hope this is a start.

Bronze. ca.7- 10 g.
Obv.: Head of unbearded Heracles l., wearing lion's skin headdress.
Rev. ΣYPA - KOΣIΩN , Athena Alkidemos standing r., draped, chlamys over shoulders, holding large round shield in her l. hand, thunderbolt in her raised r. hand.
SNG ANS 854. Calciati II, 321, 176.
