George VI-Half rupee-(Half silver) -Lahore mint

Please find my George VI-Halfrupee (Half silver coin)-Lahore mint.
I bought this coin @Rs 540 for 2 coins.

Rs. 540 for 2 half rupees! I think it is a great deal. Your coins look attractive to me. I like these coins with security edge very much.

British India coins from Lahore mint are historically very significant and intriguing to me.  1945 was the last year of the British India half Rupee in silver (50% silver). Both 1944 and 1945 half rupees also have broader borders.   Nice coins!

Thanks for all your comments (Islam, Harry & Dr.Abhishek). Actually I bought 4 coins & gave two to my coin friends.
Anyway I will try to buy one or two coins excess from dealer (he is from chennai-sowcarpet) if still he have same lahore coins with good condition, then I will give it to our WOC friends if they want. (same buying price).

Daily I visited our forum & read all republic india/British india & ancient india coins related information from experts/seniors. Thanks to all to share your valuable comments, information & coins pics. Surely this helps me a lot.

Note: Now only I 'm trying to identify the coins quality & originality.

From the picture the coin seems to be absolutely OK to me. About quality I can only tell that they look attractive to me. Not cleaned. I like them.

Bought this 1944 half rupee last week. Scan quality isnt that great but the coin is in XF condition.

This is my second British India silver coin. I already have 1943 Half rupee in UNC condition.
