Wow the 10 rupees coin looks awesome. Much better than the 5rs of the same design.

Sellers are charging as high as 35 bucks fr each piece of 10 rupee coin. Just too much I guess.  ;D

I purchased this from my regular dealer for very reasonable price. He gave me this at bulk price.  :D :D
Rs5 costed me Rs8 and Rs10 @Rs14.( Bag with 100 coins was available @Rs800 and Rs10 @1400).

The 2009 coin commemorates 60 years of commonwealth of nations..

The 2012 coin commemorates 60 years of Indian parliament..

But both have almost identical design.. >:(

oooh...Sorry for the blunder , yes same design , when i saw this 2012 coin I completely forgot about the 60ys of  Common wealth ... ;D

The info is that there may not be a Proof & UNC with higher denomination silver coin. However Mumbai [or Hyderabad] mint may come up with Single Coin sets for these to be sold over the counter. Hence there will be no booking for these coins.
