Hi Mackie,

You can Contact Mr. Raman from chennai (Retd from Archiology Dept) who is having coin holder and currency sleeves (moisture free) Or Mr. Bijuphilips from chennai. I know both are having the coin holder and moisture free sleeves. (Album also). I Hope you have their contact details. If anyone want their contact details, please feel free to PM to me.
Best Wishes,

I have bought these sleeves earlier. Quality is just pathetic, suggest you avoid if you are planning to store valuable notes.

I had ordered 250 sleeves, and these are the best, go for Mylar 5 x 8, even our hyderabad 100 rupee fits in it perfectly and still leaves some room..

I have seen these with many dealers in US.

it comes to around 15-20 rupee per sleeve but its good quality mylar, mylar is acid and chemical free and best for storing paper money, I did a lot of research and then finally landed on this one.

Sorry to resurrect this old topic, but I wanted to ask the exact same question.

These sleeves are available for Rs 628 in lot size of 1,000. Mackie are these that bad that even general notes cannot be stored? I have a few foreign notes which are not very valuable but in almost UNC like condition.

This is another listing and the seller claims that the sleeves are acid free with price varying from Rs. 100 to Rs. 200. Any idea about them?

And another, but with no info at all.

Understand Mylar would be great, but it will be expensive if I use for all.

Alternatively any suggestions on currency albums, especially those available online in India?

Gaurav,

I have purchased and used both. The sleeves that you are getting in bulk are as good as thin plastic sleeves. I don't think they cant stand Mumbai's heat and humidity.

The second option is still better but I don't think its PVC free. Its just thicker plastic and good enough to store less valuable banknotes.

I am still searching for some good quality, PVC free currency sleeves and I also need around 200 banknotes sleeves urgently.

Warm Regards,
Mackie

Recently I purchased coin sheets & Coin album, quality of Sheets is average while the album is very good.

They generally deliver within 4 days.
