please let me know what is the problem you feel in this coin. Bcoz i am meeting this dealer on this sunday. If there is any problem i will return this coin to him.
Why do you feel there is a problem in this coin? Also shall i once again take a pick and post for your refrence? this is 1/2 Rupee coin.

Would you please take another picture of the coin taking it under the focul of the camera? The problem that I find is the very low relief of the effigy of the king. That may be because of wear. But if not I have douubt on the coin. Please take a ping test.. Also look at the edge. If possible post the pic of the edge as well. Remember, this is only doubt and several times picture is misleading.

I would agree with an adverse imprssion for the right hand coin. The Kings bust, the general uneven wear, the over all impression... Dil cheekh cheekh kar kah rha hai..Nakli...Nakli....but then some times I have been proved wrong..

Hah hah ha... I have the same observation Birder. Same here. Aagar agli picture may aasli ho jaye to dil ko bohot dukh hoga. (sorry if my hindi is gramatically wron).

True. But I have a bad person in me you know. Behavioral science argues that everyone loves to prove his/her anticipation right. Sometimes it is so strong that he is happy to find that he is right at the cost of other's loss.

Actually the fact is both me and Birder meant that, if we clearly tell now without being sure that the coin is fake and later if the coin proves genuine, then we shall repent for previous wrong guess. But you are right. We shall be happy if we find that coin is alright. I know the pain of collecting a fake.

Its Lahore Mint. Lahore Mint has no privy marks. Bombay mint has a diamond dot privy mark below the date.  Mintage from Lahore mint is 41,911,451 and Bombay mint is 118,128,000.
