Here is my King George V Rupee (1911-1936) brockage error coin.  From what I know a brockage error occurs when an already minted coin gets stuck to the die and imprints itself on to another coin. Could someone please elaborate.  Also,  what happens to the stuck coin?  Is this coin scarce?   Please comment.

If you have other British India error coins please post pictures.  I would love to see them!

A really nice coin. These coins are quite rare.
For a similar coin of 1983 1 Rupee Coin, see just this thread.

I did not really find it, it found me! Actually it was a gift from my Uncle when I was a kid. He told me "here is an old Indian Rupee for your collection". I did not notice the brockage error back then. After a few years I noticed that his Rupee was different and realized it was an error coin. My only error coin so far!

Yes BD, but the picture sucks!  I need to put your photography tips to good use!  When I take pictures of my coins they always look washed out or dark. Will keep trying, I'll get two lamps with a 20W bulb like you suggested and see if that helps.

I use the el-chepo tablelamps which you can find at wallyworld for around 10$. I also use plain white paper sheets set up like a light box to reflect as much light on to the coin surface from the lamps. More the light you have to work with, easier it is to take the picture.
