Akbar, Dam, Ahmedabad, Ilahi 44. Ref: KM # 32.2

Looks like a Dam of Akbar of Ahmedabad. The coin reads ..........Akbarshahi, Ahmedabad on Left and Ilahi 44 with a month name at bottom on the right image. Please help.

Seems like this one but with half the weight. (will upload weight later).

In a discussion here, Oesho has mentioned that the coin reads Tanka Akbarshahi......... could the legend be Neem Tanka Akbarshahai, with the neem off the flan....... A Dam is indeed a half Tanka.......

Coin Weight is 15.1g. So A Tanki weight coin rather than a Dam or Half Tanka?

For the weight it should indeed be a 4 Tanki. The only curiosity is the Ilahi date 44. The Tanki's of Ahmadabad are known with Ilahi years 46 to 50.
According to Hodivala: Historical Studies in Mughal Numismatics (Bombay, 1976) the Tanki was introduced to create a fractional currency of 1/10 of a heavy Akbar Tanka. A decimal system based on the Tanka.

I am extremely sorry for the goof up. I do not understand what went wrong but even this one is 19.1 g and not 15g and would mean a Dam.
