National Bank: Georgia to issue new 50-lari notes from Feb.15

New 50-lari banknotes of the 2011 release will be put into circulation from Feb.15 in parallel with the old notes - the relevant decision of the Council of the National Bank was published on the website of the Georgian Legislative Messenger and will enter into force on Feb.15.

The new banknotes of the 2011 release will be visually similar to its predecessor, the old notes, released in 2008.

According to the decision, 50-lari banknotes of the 2011 release will be put into circulation in parallel with notes of release of previous years.
