1808 Quarter Pagoda : Authenticity

I would like to know the forum's opinion about the authenticity of this 1/4 Pagoda. Kindly help me.

It looks a little crude to me. I would not touch it.

What really tripped my fake radar was the coin's surface and the wear patterns. May be the coin was excessively cleaned but the wear patterns seem very odd to me too. Feels like the lettering on the coin is less worn than the surface of the coin. Just something didn't feel right about the coin, so wanted to check with the community to see if they feel something is odd about the coin.
