I wasn't claiming the tokens belong to the Bédarrides enterprise, rather that the family and their business seem to have moved there. There are more 12-½ centimes denominated tokens and I believe that shape is popular among them. Maybe their geographical locations (Beauzac is close to Sant-Etienne) are concentrated? Commercially, it seems like a good idea. Give a 16-⅔% discount and take seigniorage and loyalty advantages. As for the Café Pontvianne, I would be mightily surprised if the consommation in question were Coca Cola or Whiskey...
