I found this deviation on this 2 frank 1943 (KM#25)

Normally the legend is pure, this one isn't.

Small die breaks:
N of VAN, B of BELGISH, N of CONGO

Here an example with a pure legend:

Note:
This piece is minted in Philadelphia Mint, USA.

The word BELGISCH is misspelled!
There stands BELGISH they forgotten the C !!

Start small to end magnificent - Start klein om groots te eindigen.

Aernout

"Belgisch" meets "Belgian" in Flemish/Dutch.

"Belgisch" is the correct spelling for this word.

A compleet piece as example:

I assume the dies were cut by English speakers at the mint in Philadelphia and the error wasn't noticed until after the run was completed.

Very plausible postulation

So I have 7 "normal" pieces and 5 "unnormal" pieces.  ;)

Very beautiful coin!! Good catch on the spelling error.
My goal for 2017 is to finish finish my British India copper collection (1/4 anna, 1/2 Pice and 1/12 anna) by year and Mintmark. Any help with missing coins in BU grades is highly appreciated.

Corrected on the Philadelphia 2-franc coinage for the Belgian Congo dated 1944.

Perhaps, but we never know as it is non-existent.

You are absolutely right. The Philadelphia mint's spelling mistake is commonly known, and the 1944 coins of the colony were corrected. But not at Philadelphia, apparently. The 1944 2-franc pieces coined at Philadelphia were for Belgium proper. My mistake. Thanks for setting me straight.
