They are rats in Krause, albeit odd looking ones.

the Malta one looks like an oar to me - seems to have been removed now.

Why's the decapitated head in the rejection - have you found another?

Similar enough - Christian posted it months ago. Will require a bit of a trawl thru the posts.

potter

Potter is not unique.
Ukraine has issued a coin on Potter and Moldova has on on pottery.
By the way, will you count Harry Potter too? ;D

Previous post: Falkland Islands, 1 crown, 2007.  It would help if members could give details of the coins illustrated, to save us having to look them up.

This post: Cook Islands, $1, 2007.  Wedding cake. Same year, same theme.

Bhutan,200 ngultrums, 1981 - International Year of the Disabled.

Look, a typewriter!  Where else have you seen a typewriter on a coin?

The uniqueness goes off on 10th April when Czech Republic issues a coin on 300th birth ann. of Aloys Klar, famous for his schools for blind. Incidentally, this coin also depicts Braille Typewriter.

Krause says for that one "Man sitting at Console" - the theme is "technology" rather than sea side...
