Akbar Dam mint Lahore 977 A.H (A'dl type)

Hi all,
Here is what I think is a dam of Akbar.. Please attribute it with with other details.. The seller told that it is of lahore mint.. weight 20.2 gms

Yes, it is a dam of Lahore mint dated 977 AH.
From botom to high (left scan) : nuhsad / haftad / haft +  fractions of digits : 977
legend on obverse is : "(zarb) falus Lahore" without the epithet "dar-al-sultanat"; the additional letter which cuts "S"of falus and "R"of Lahore could be a "L" of 'adl as present on a scarce variety of dams from this mint; I am not sure and this point needs to be confirmed.

I join a drawing with the full legend of this coin.
Even if this coin is known since a long time, the full legend including the word 'ad'l has been noticed only recently (1990 or 91, I think), due to the fact that the lower parts of the legend are very often cut (as on yours..) / = Valentine n°664.
You can see on your dam the vertical leg of the "lam" of 'ad'l (which cut in fact the "S" of falus and the "B" of zarb) and the very small end of the "A" of 'ad'l in the "wav" of falus.

The reverse should possess the legend "fi tarikh nuhsad..."

I have checked in my papers and I have to rectify the date of "discovery" of this hidden word :in fact, it has been published in IIRNS Newsline 22, on april 1999, and not 1990-91...
