Suspect 1911 BI Silver Rupee

The following coin looks suspect to me

The image is not big enough or good enough to come to a conclusion, but the tell-tale marks on the Obverse seems to indicate this as a forgery. What do you say -- Shastri

I think you are quite right that the pics are not detailed enough for a conclusion. The funny spot behind the head could be an air bubble, trapped in the casting process. But maybe it is something quite different. To judge, a "ping" test, weight, observed by an independent party, measure and judgement on the silver content is called for. We are not likely to get any of these.

A coin I am familiar with because of the "pig" rupees from that time - it has the appearance of a cast coin, the bubble behind the head, not to mention the flaw to the right lower of the bubble.  It doesn't even appear to be silver.  The serifs on the roman letters are off a bit too.
