Dear friends

Kolkata mint is organizing a half day workshop on 7 Feb 12 on commemorative coins. The participants are being selected on 'first come first serve' basis.  You have to send an application to the GM of mint. They published an ad in the papers recently.

The ad states that the aim of the workshop is to provide "better services to our sincere customer".

I hope they will teach you how to make the dies of important commemorative coins.  ;D ;D ;D
At the end of the workshop, they will also give a coin of Land Vital Resources as a token of love.   ;D  ;D  ;D ;D

Regards
Sanjay Kansal

I can imagine Sanjay at the head of the line to enroll ... And then in the front row seat taking notes like a good student ;D

Thanks for letting us know,.. Apols couldn't get back to you last week

kansal888

Paise,
I feel that instead of Kolkata mint organizing a workshop for coin collectors, it will be much better if coin collectors  organize a workshop for the staff of Kolkata mint.
;D  ;D  ;D

Drogunks

Kansal ji, can you inform the full procedure of filling up form? Can everyone attend this program? From where to get the form and to where send it after filling up?

Regards,
Akash
Why so serious?

kansal888

Akash, there is nor form. Anyone can attend the workshop. Please send a simple 2 line request to the GM of Kolkata mint either by email or fax or speed post...

just send your request to kansalji  ;D.  he is more powerful than GM.  He is the only one with the unissued SAARC set.  it makes even the 1993 parliament set look cheap.

Drogunks

I have not even heard of this SAARC set. What does it commemorate? When was it minted?
