No I can only tell you its listed as Hayes 106 in Machine Tokens but have no other information.

I did see it on eBay last week...

I found that too but didn't think of canteen tokens.  :)

The clock made around 1920's was named the 'Atmos clock'. http://atmosclocks.com/history.html the Atmos clock will continue to run if left untouched, "forever". Hence the term: "Living On Air".  Perhaps this is the idea behind the name of the economiser.

Thank you both, Gentlemen. I bought it because the name was familiar to me but I couldn't place it.

My father was a one-man rescue home for elderly automobiles, and now I'm able to place "Cox Atmos"

I do now - I just obtained one, the seller also places it to Birmingham with suggestion 'canteen or similar'.

Same both sides. Cu-Ni, 20mm; just a whisker bigger than a 6d.
