One of my friend has sent these from Mumbai.. I think he must have picked a packet.Luckily my neighbor was in Mumbai today he picked them.
I have not yet paid the amount yet ..I guess Rs8-10 per piece. Hopefully these will be avail be with all dealers in next week.
Planning pick few from Pune coin exhibition (Monthly small meeting) 7th April.

now the wait starts for this one to turn in general circulation for the rest of the populace. Hopefully it wont be months....

Btw any variants reported? Big lion, small lion? Been a long time since the last one... Any other mint....

Yes, In Chennai also its available, Got 1 packet @750, But if you purchase in single coin, price is 10 rs/piece.

biggest scam in the business.  some poor fellow drew a M instead of a diamond.  they are both circulation strikes with different mint marks.

Unfortunately I no longer have access to circulation coins as i used to... oh the twists and turns of life. So no coins for almost a month now!

Thanks for the kind words but there is only one king of the jungle and that is Sanjay Kansal.  He has coins not in any book or with any dealer also his skills for picking out coins is legendary.  He can do it even in very poor light and through semi transparent objects.  Despite all this he remains very humble.  Truly a living legend. 

Now for the real deal.  The M mintmark coins are exactly the same as the diamond mintmark coins.  The quality of coins is the same.  The real deal was just my way of paying tribute to the hype that will be created citing the M as either a proof coin or some sort of ultra rare alien sighting and will be sold for crazy money.   It will be fun to see how many people go along for the ride 1989 here we come again
