I feel I'm a bit late to the party with this, "Euro Series - Prelaunch Tribut(sic)"  of Slovak fantasies "exclusively designed for Mayfair Edition"
Limited edition of 50,000 pieces.
Don't blame me, it was a boot sale. Alcohol may have been involved.

The large piece is a medal, but the others are the real McCoy. See my topic:

Slovakia: Two states, three coinages

You'll have to scroll right down to the bottom.

Thank you. It appears I have to buy the 2001- Krause. It was the wording " Prelaunch Tribute" made me assume the worst.

You don't even need that these days. Just click on the link below and scroll down to Slovakia:

That thing which looks like a CoA, behind the CoA ;) , looks familiar. Göde/Münzkontor, hmm? http://www.goede.com/unternehmensbereiche/versandhandel.html  Well, at least the eight coins are not only real but unaltered. Sometimes such dealers even sell partly gold-plated pieces ...

Just searched a little more ... and I hope you did not pay that price.

If you don't understand the German description ... good. The part about the "trial" thing is baloney anyway. 8)

For Christian:

Just a meaningless CoA, part of the general tackiness.

"Just searched a little more ... and I hope you did not pay that price."

Er, no. £2.87 to be exact.

chrisild

Oh, good. In fact, a very good price. :) But that CoA -- in my opinion it is exactly the one that Göde uses. Not sure whether that is generic in any way so that it would be free to use for everybody ...

Christian

I agree, everything about the sales pitch tallies with this set and it most definitely is the CoA that Göde atre using.

I think it is against the rules of heraldry to place a crown below anything, except another crown. You wouldn't think that important if you are Steptoe and son, dealers in scrap metal, I suppose. >:D

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
