Maybe you should ask him how he does it, so you can learn how to do it yourself?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

That's a truly good design. Balanced, simple but not simplistic and very well presented. I am truly amazed at what this board brings out.

Basically I agree ... just one thing, but that may be a personal quirk of mine. Using lowercase characters on coins is something that I don't like much. Especially when text elements go along the edge of a round coin (or, as in this case, of the pill). With a person's name in a horizontal line below the portrait, for example, it is OK, but in general lowercase characters are too, hmm, uneven? Not well balanced? Oh well. ;D

@ Christian, Geert,
As this is only a fantasy, does it really matter? ;)

No - in the sense of "Whatever I write about design ideas or fantasies should not discourage the designer or keep him/her from designing further pieces". ;)

Sure it is always easier to comment on existing designs (that would be the camp I'm in) than to make one's own. And I sure appreciate it when others think about coin designs and visualize their ideas. It's just that, with German and also Finnish coins I am used to the second, third, fourth best designs being presented in public. (Mind you, those are "official" submissions discussed by the juries.) And in such cases, as well as with actually issued coins, I may also post comments about what I like or dislike ...

And as for what I think about the use of lowercase characters - see my previous reply. Others may very well think differently about it. ;D

Your English is a whole lot better than my Italian, Frizio :D

As your designs are the fruit of your taste and work, I am sure you find them better. Personally, I enjoy seeing how you come up with good alternatives and a nice presentation. Our comments are meant to keep up a dialogue, useful for designers as well as collectors.
