We should perhaps mention that if we click 'See other items' there are four each of these two 'rare' coins.

Wow this dude is so fearless that he has mentioned his contact number and email ID in the listing.

It clearly shows that anybody can sell anything on ebay without any screening or background check. Pathetic!! One of my college mates is working with ebay, I guess it would be a wise idea to get it touch with him.
Warm Regards,
Mackie

Ebay, experts are lying at all levels from the supreme being downwards. And of course proving that justice can be bought by size.

Dear Arthur

I persuaded ebay to remove both the listings of fake coins.  :D  :D  :D  :D

Fake 1969 on ebay

Fake 1970 on ebay

They took the action very quickly. This is my third straight hit in last few months. (100% success record) Lets celebrate.. ;D  ;D ;D

Cheers

You have been conned - see the link I posted at Reply#134   'See other items' there are still three of each listed.

Not exactly. These processes are worked by degrees. Stage 1 is now complete which enables the other stages to move. It now becomes a test of EBay's corporate heart (lol) but step by step.

Dear Malcom
I reported only two coins to ebay. I did not notice the remaining six. So it was my fault. ;D ;D ;D

Wonderful work. It is and must be taken step by step. The work can be mind numbing because of the general lack of action by Ebay but we have someone here in Sanjay who is now prepared to take those steps and win. Each one saves someone money and saves our hobby/interest.

In the thread I posted the other day I think Ebay finaly gave the big hint and that is if the industry is prepared to do something then maybe, just maybe, Ebay might look at doing something. We of course have seen recently how the industry loves to go to the media to score points off someone else in the industry when the correct thing would have been done without the media. Pity the same media attention and industry people aren't used against Ebay who harbour the fakers for mutual profit pluse the added profit from PayPal.
