Yeah this is still. sometime ago i reported this guy to ebay that he is selling fakes. they say they find nothing to verify my claim. I also mailed the that you are selling fakes and stop doing that. no response.

I think its best we educate everyone about such fakes and avoid these.

Please advise the fakes he is currently selling and a full link to his site, by PM if necessary. Let's see if Ebay comes back this time with "nothing to verify the claim."

He  intimates that they are all copies - if you read between the lines. On this banknote he does say its a replica.

Dear Akona

I sent the following email to ebay:

A seller rockylee1984 is selling a counterfeit 2Rs coin of Dr BR Ambedkar (Item # 180789690494).

Please note that selling fake and counterfeit currency is an offense punishable by law. Ebay is requested to remove the listing IMMEDIATELY. If Ebay does not remove the counterfeit currency within 24 hours, Ebay will be solely responsible for the consequences. After this notice, if Ebay fail to remove the item, it will be presumed that Ebay is willingly promoting the trade of counterfeit currency. You may contact me on 989920xxxx for further details.

FIRST VICTORY AGAINST COUNTERFEITS

I sent several emails to ebayindia against the seller rockylee1984 who was selling counterfeit coins (180792812540, 180794734951,  180792885461, 180794116557, 180789961320).

They responded by writing that they dont have enough evidence against the seller.

After lots & lots of efforts and a long fight; ebayindia has finally agreed to cancel the registration of seller who was selling the counterfeit coins
Please see the ebay link:

Kansalji, great work indeed., Thanks a lot! He may return with new registration but at least this must have been setback to him and good warning to eBay.

100% positive feedback and over 4 stars ::)

Congratulations! Every victory that makes the life of fraudulent sellers less easy is very worthwhile. I am sorry you had to go through so much trouble for such an obvious fraud. Maybe eBay India will take you more seriously next time. Thank you from all of us.
