Any dealers in coins of Tonga?
« on: September 16, 2011, 01:50:57 AM »
Yup...I'm still at it...and more determined than ever. Looking for 1 proof example of Tonga, KM-160, 1993 featuring Richard Wagner. Are there any Tonga coin dealers out there...or can someone connect me with someone that might be able to help? The Tonga National Bank hasn't answered my inquiry and I don't know who else to contact.

Thanks so much.

They may very well never have reached Tonga. You may want to try dealers in New Zealand instead. If I understand translateltd correctly, there is interest in the issues for Tonga there. Would make sense, as they are "neighbours" (if you are a good swimmer :))

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Good idea, Peter.

I'll search a few dealers in NZ and see if they can help.

Thanks for the suggestion.
