Good, generally and with other denominations that were minted more often, they do not have that information.

I'd love to know who this private dealer is, so I could get in touch with them about how to order both the 2012 £2 and £1.  They don't appear to have turned up on eBay.  5,000 isn't many but it's not exactly rare, you'd think some of them would have ended up being resold.

Thank you to everyone who took part in answering my question.
So they do exist after all. ))) It is also interesting that hkfears noted that coins with the date "2006" with a total of 15,000: 10,000 of them were minted in 2006, and 5,000 in 2012. Thank you again for the information!

The coins were made for a German coin dealer that is now no longer in business. The dealer had similar arrangements with the government of Guernsey, which is why some of their 2012-dated coins are extremely rare too.

As for the Jersey 2 pounds coin of 2012, the piece shown is on view at The Royal Mint Experience. Nobody has ever seen any other specimens of this coin.

Yes, the photo that HK Fears posted is actually mine, as I supplied him with it.  The coin is indeed on display at the Royal Mint Experience.  I'm glad he posted it as I seem to have lost the ability to post photos on here.  I used to use Tapatalk but seems impossible to find the right topic when searching on that these days.

I didn't know any of Guernsey's 2012-dated coins were rare?  I've got all eight of them, at least two of each.  A quick search of the £1 and £2 on eBay (nothing comes up) suggests they are indeed rare.

I bought 2 pounds 2012 Guernsey in February 2017 for 6.5 pounds. Probably, after all, this is not very rare

FYI:  One coin site states that there were 5250 Guernsey 2012 two pounds coins minted.  That should make it at least a hard to find coin.  It is also stated that there were 5250 Guernsey one pound coins minted.
