Farrukhsiyar AR Rupee ?? -- attribution help
« on: September 05, 2011, 08:45:23 AM »
Experts !

Could one of you help attribute this coin?

I'm pretty sure its of the Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar, but would be nice to confirm.

Also, I doubt if the mint (Itawa) and the KM# (377.34) currently attributed to it are correct?

Thanks in advance !

Farrukhsiyar, Mint: Itawa, Ref.: KM#377.34. AH can be seen at about 7O'clock position on the top image, RY 2.

The picture is quite small and unsharp, but I don't see 1125. The last digit looks like an 8 to me. Or is it my bad eyesight?

The only two possible date combinations for Ry.2 are AH1125/Ry.2 & AH1126/Ry.2.
It may require a better image to verify the correct Hijri date.
