I have done this attribution on my own without any help and hope I have got it right. This is a coin weighing 15.9 g. Please help confirm the attribution.

During the last coin fair in Ahmedabad (in February), I had picked up one large lot of Mughal coins. I have been trying to get them attributed. I have segragated this small lot of 4 tankis of Ahmedabad and am looking for help to confirm the month and date on the coins. Some of them are in a poor condition and I plan to give them an extended oil bath soon.

Coin Akbar 1: Month: Khurdad or Amardad. Ilahi year off the flan.

Coin Akbar 2: Month: Shahrewar Mihr or Tir. Ilahi year 44.

I will post a few more later this evening.

Arthur suggests tha the second coin is Shahrewar (Virgo) the 6th Month and I tend to agree with his views after I compared the coin with the one listed by Overlord.

Thanks Arthur.....

That's one of my great joys too, Amit. Acquiring what looks like a lot of junk, restoring them, identifying them and enjoying all the wonderful pieces I found. Have fun with them.

Overlord has helped with the reading of the months and I have changed the individual headings to reflect the coins.
