For all the different machines type in all the different places in the U.S. there are obviously going to be Putt-Putt machines that will take tokens with other designs on them.

I don't know what machines they would be?  They did have batting cages on some of the sites so that could be a possibility. Or Slots perhaps?
I've never played or been to a Putt Putt place seeing that most are in the US.  Has anyone been to one?
I'll get in touch with the Putt Putt Corporation and nail this one down.

Looks like they are for machines, my illusions are shattered, I feel like a crumpled score card discarded in the dustbin :'(

It seems you can get 50 tokens for $5 to play the machines in the game room - can anyone call in and get us some?

I quote...

'Putt-Putt Golf N' Games is open everyday from 9 AM to midnight. It features three 18-hole miniature golf courses, a game room....
.....These package deals also include 50 game tokens that otherwise go for $5.00'.

Enjoyed that. Consider yourself encouraged. I am sure there's more to add on that page, if only some info on the company and some useful links.

I've added in some links and will write a short history once I've digested all the material I've just discovered!
Apparently the Putt-Putt franchise had over 700 operators at one time Worldwide.  There was one in England too, which I didn't know  :o
