As for the cork tree, or cork oak, I have seen those trees in Southern Spain. In Portugal I have so far been to the North only, but they have them too, and a lot of them. These trees are quite different from "regular" oaks, but not different enough to be excluded here. ;D

Now if we focus on oak leaves, here is a coin from, you guessed it, Germany with nothing but that. Those 20 gold pieces are fairly small ( 17.5 mm); maybe that is why they show parts of trees only ...
