Figleaf

It is quite difficult to distinguish between an engraved laurel wreath and an olive wreath. Therefore, most designers stick to the convention that olive branches are usually pictured with fruit, as this thread shows.

Albania 1926 10 Qindar Leku.jpg

Albania, 1926, 10 Qindar Leku.

In English, that is "10 hundredths of a lek".

So "qindar" could be translated as equivalent to "cents" or "centimes".

Albania 2 qindar ar-.jpg

Albania, 2 qindar ar, 1935.

"2 qindar ar" translates as "two hundredths of a frang ar". Now, a frang ar translates as a gold franc. There are 5 leke to a frang ar. That means that "2 qindar ar" are equal to "10 qindar leku".  Complicated? Not really. Anyway, you can see that this coin has the same face value as the coin in the previous post, a 10 qindar leku.
