This one's "just around the corner", but I fear there'll be too many modern Dutch coins. Has anyone been here in years past?

@ Peter,
The last six years I was there every year. Of course there are some dealers specializing in "modern Dutch" or Eurocoins but many others are offering a wide variety of older and foreign coins (Although not as many as at the Muntmanifestatie in Assen in September).
A huge disadvantage is the waiting queue at the entrance. Many collectors go there just for the special "Coin Fair" set of Eurocoins.

That settles it. My back won't stand waiting in a queue. Good advice a3v1. Thanks!

Have not been to the HCF yet, and I won't go this year. Utrecht yes (Dag van de Munt), two times so far - but that is, from my point of view, at a more convenient time ...

My back doesn't allow me to go to the Utrecht thingy either, but if my agenda allows it, I could come to Utrecht and meet people...

That would be in early June - fine, I will probably be there. And those lines are somewhat deterring indeed; not sure whether that is because of the sets or because they want only so and so many people to be in the building at the same time. As for the Holland Coin Fair, I can definitely not make it this year ...

@ Christian,
Both reasons are equally valid. Many collectors just go there to buy the coin roll boxes and the Dag van de Munt (Day of the Mint) set, both only available at issue price that day.
Fire and security regulations limit the number of people being present in the building at one time. Security guards at the entrance and exit are in constant radio contact, and as soon as a certain number of visitors has left the building an equal number of new visitors is admitted.
