Ah yes, I saw that exhibition in Frankfurt (at the Bundesbank, I think) about eight years ago. It was shown in various euro area cities as far as I remember. Also see this topic. Except I just noticed that the ECB download link that I posted then is outdated. Here is the current one:

Thanks for the link, Christian. I was reading in the August edition of Coin News about Irishman Robert Ballagh, who designed two of the unadopted series, and also some actual banknotes for the Republic of Ireland. That is what inspired me to look for these designs.
