The bill screams out more than "I'm a five". It also shows how deeply conservative the US public is, still clinging to what is now a very dated design in basically one colour and one size for all bills, without help for the blind and visually impaired, as has become more and more common on banknotes of other countries.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

It is long overdue for the denominations of the U.S. currency to have been printed in different colours.A lot of people certainly have a lot of trouble distinguishing the denominations in the older notes,which,in my opinion,is extremely bland & devoid of any imagination.
