If yes, few days before I bought this note @Rs 320 for 2 nos. (used condition & good)

There is never a logic as to why something is expensive ... its just the question of demand and supply.
BTW Narasimhan was governor for just 7 months, so maybe the number of notes printed in this series is less ... or it could be that these notes are statched away by some businessman in some vault ... so there aren't many floating in the market
