Luxembourg's central bank (BCL) also has some info about the pre-euro circulation coins:

It's OK to ask questions to this crowd, Arne. Their combined knowledge is impressive.

Well i do have some now ;)
Some of my coins (withd dates before 1980) are not on the website. Any other sources?

Coins from Luxembourg from the earliest times are listed in "Atlas der munten van Belgi?" by Hugo Vanhoudt. The book is sold out, but I have a copy, so don't hesitate to ask.

Thank's a lot Peter,

well i have this coin (1 Frank) dated in 1952. I would like to have some more information on it, aswell as it's value.

Luxembourg KM 46.2 - 1 franc 1952, mintage 5 million, type dated 1952-1964, copper-nickel, 21mm.

obv: crowned monogram Ch for grand duchess Charlotte (underlined words are clickable) above wreath between denomination
rev: farmer tilling the land by hand, above LETZEBURG (name of the country in L?tzebuergesch), date below.

As for the value, first read this, then this, then apply what you have learned to the following:

F $0.10; VF $0.25; EF $0.50; UNC $2.00.
