This is one of my 3 gold European coins. Can you guys tell me anything about it, such as a date?

Yes, 1943.  It's an aluminium-bronze alloy, rather than gold, too :-)

They were made in straight aluminium a couple of years later, in 1945, also undated.

Wow what a history lesson!!! I learned alot from the articles posted about a country I didn't know much about. Other than the car racing and Princess Grace. And the casinos.
Disappointed about the metal in the coin. Thanks guys!

Hi Ginger,

I appear to have put you wrong on the date - the aluminium coins came first (1943) followed by the aluminium-bronze versions in 1945.

Here's the aluminium version, undated, struck in 1943. KM 121. Paris mint signs on both sides of the arms.
