We’ve taken a look at a Cis-Sutlej state rupee before; Maler –Kolta.  This coin is also a Cis-Sutlej state rupee; weighing 10.7 grams and meticulously cleaned (sigh).   But which state? My well meaning guess would be that it is from Patiala. In my standard catalog, the absolutely terrible photograph of Km 1 reminds me of the coin which I am posting. It was dated 1938, but it didn't bother to list the date as AD or VS. But since it was listed in the 1901 - 2000 catalog, I guess it was AD.  I can not find a suitable match in Zeno, nor anywhere else I have looked, including the 1801 to 1900 standard catalog.

Thanks Oesho.
I looked at all three of the examples posted on Zeno, I looked at the one I had posted a few days ago that you helped me identify as being from Maler Kolta and I took another look at the one posted above. Wow!  That is absolutely incredible.
So, with just a trace of irritation:
Please Nawab Ahmad ali Khan, please sir, urge your mint to strive for a little more consistency!
