Syria, 2-1/2 piastre AD1948/AH1367

I look at this coin and first think Egypt or Libya and then I think Egypt for sure.
Looking at the date it seems to be 1948?

I can't find it in the SCWC.  What am I doing wrong?

Syria.  The arms are very similar to those of Egypt.

Yes, besides the numbers it's spelled out in words on the reverse: Qurushaan wa nisf (two piastres and a half).  Date is AD1948/AH1367 as Dale worked out.
