Solomon Islands, $25, 2007.  Turtle ship.


I posted images of those two collector coins yesterday, right next to one another in the Turtle ships on coins.

Only afterwards did I realise that the basic design of the ships is the same, apart from the background.

Though these collector coins were issued nine years apart, they were surely designed by the same artist.

Who was that artist? I shall probably never know.
