Hi,
Apparently there are plenty of varieties for this coins.
Album makes a difference without heir, with heir Sir or with heir Tashufin
I would like to know which variety I have here?
I am also impressed how these tiny coins are always well centered and by the quality of the script.
Size: 11-12mm
Weight: 0.93 and 0.97gr

They  both seem to be with the heir Tashfin.

I think the top one is http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/almoravids/IMG_5526.JPG, 4th one down in the third column on the Tashfin section of http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/almoravids_silver.htm

The bottom one is http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/almoravids/IMG_5527.JPG, 3rd one down in the 4th column on the Tashfin section of http://andalustonegawa.50g.com/almoravids_silver.htm

I find the Tonegawa site extremely useful for Spanish Islamic coins.

As you say, beautiful little coins

Coin collecting has a curious name. It is also called the "Hobby of Kings".

Figleaf

Super. The Granada mint must have been within the Alhambra complex at that time.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
