The design on 50 guaranies reverse coin features the Acaray dam.

It barely resembles the original sketch.

Strangely, the words Katoenbol and Tabaksplant (both in the same handwriting) on the sketches of the 1 and 5 guarani are Dutch for cotton ball and tobacco plant.

Eurocoin found the sketches in the Royal Dutch Mint. How they ended up there is another question. Most of the designs were based on designs from old Paraguayan banknotes of the 1950s, and according to the references the Paraguayan coin series of 1975 was minted in Rio de Janeiro.
