The case of the missing chick

This one is really very subtle, so I made the picture a bit bigger. Both coins are Irish pennies 1968, the last year this type was minted. There are five chicks below, one largely hidden behind a sibling, one trying to hide behind one of mama's legs. On the left coin, the latter chick has a head, but no body.

The effect is caused by one short thin line missing. Its little leg is there, but the belly is left undefined. This is likely to be a filled die error.
