Coins with rim devices

Sometimes, half way down the rim of a coin, you will find the legend broken up with a dot at either side. Or maybe there will be three separate dots placed around the rim. This is a common but minor design point. Dots in themselves are not very interesting, but sometimes you find more intriguing devices used instead of dots.

The point here is not to illustrate all the coins with a special rim device, but to see how many different rim devices we can find. This will not be particularly easy, as they are not usually a design element that most people notice. This is certainly one of the more obscure themes I have presented, but I hope you enjoy it.
