Interesting variety coin from Kazakhstan

I wasn't aware of this until a friend from Kazakhstan mentioned about this variety.

If you look at the statue, there's a difference with and without hand.





Not sure which is less common but it's interesting to note this difference.

Interesting. But I think, the single hand could be an error.

The actual statue has both the hands, as can be seen from the image.

That statue "Monument of Independence" is common on Kz bank notes .

However these 20 Tenge coins are not circulating coins and issued as commemorative coins for limited editions.

I'm not sure if these coins did not circulate. This one is clearly circulated and from what I heard, commemorative coins do circulate although I'm sure not if all of them do circulate.

Upon browsing & scrolling this site , I found that 1996 - 20 KZT were all commemorative coins .

Mintage figure given as : 100,000.00
Type : Commemorative.
