Title: Unadopted UK Decimal Designs by New Zealander James Berry
Post by: <k> on March 09, 2011, 07:12:35 PM
These sketches of a proposed floral series of coins show some designs that were entered but not adopted as UK decimal designs. I suspect there is one member on this forum who KNOWS who the designer is. As for the others - can you guess who designed these?

Martin (translateltd) got it right at the second guess. It was the late James Berry, his fellow New Zealander (though originally British) and designer of New Zealand's first decimal designs who produced these sketches. They were part of his attempt to design the UK's decimal coins too.
