Hello! I’m putting my foot in the water with Greek coins. I’ve had help identifying this as an AE 18 of Antiochus VIII, denomination B.
I found references to to a variety with IE in the legend, which I think I see in this one. My question is what does the IE stand for? Thanks for any advice and resources.

Unfortunately i can not give you an answer specific for this coin type. However in general, these letter combinations on Seleucid coinage seem to be mint control marks. I do not know specific combinations that are coupled to indentified names or mint-officials though.
